A Sri Lankan fishing trawler with six crew members was captured by Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea according to Fisheries Department.
The multi-day vessel had departed from the Chilaw Dikkowita Fisheries Harbour on 12th January.
The abduction was confirmed by both the Sri Lankan Fisheries Department and the Navy Media Spokesperson. (NewsWire)
