Former Sri Lankan Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who was remanded in custody until February 15th by the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court, has been admitted to the Prisons Hospital on medical recommendation, according to the Prisons Department.
The department did not disclose the nature of Rambukwella’s illness.
Rambukwella, the current Environment Minister was arrested yesterday by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for alleged corruption in importing substandard human Immunoglobulin injections. (NewsWire)
