The Special Task Force has raided house in Enderamulla area in Wattala and recovered a cache of drugs estimated to be worth over Rs. 100 million.
A stock of 192,000 narcotic pills have been found in this operation, the STF said.
According to information received by the intelligence officers of the STF, the house was raided and a 40-year-old suspect was arrested along with the drugs concealed there.
The STF states that these drugs brought from a foreign country were packed in cardboard boxes and stored in this manner to be sold on a large scale to Colombo and other areas. (NewsWire)
