National Peoples Power (NPP) Leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake met officials from the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) in New Delhi today, the second day of his tour to India.
ORF, a premier Indian Think Tank, provides independent analysis on security, strategy, economy, development, energy and resources
MP Dissanayake thereafter, met officials from the Unique Identification Authority of India.
The Sri Lankan delegation is scheduled to leave for Ahamadabad today (Feb 06).
MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake is in India for a five-day visit on an invitation extended by the Indian government.
It is reported that the delegation is scheduled to visit three cities —New Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Thiruvananthapuram — and hold meetings with government officials, and members of the business community, in addition to visiting centres of excellence in agriculture and industry. (NewsWire)
