An English teacher has been apprehended over the incident of setting fire to President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s private residence during the ‘Argalaya’ Peoples Movement last year.
According to Lankadeepa, the man was arrested over the incident reported in Colombo on July 09, 2022.
He was arrested by officials from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Monday (Feb 05).
The English teacher has been identified as a 46-year-old resident of Boralesgamuwa. (NewsWire)
