Mahinda Kodituwakku, the self-proclaimed ‘Awalokiteshwara Bodhisattva’ in Sri Lanka, who was remanded for defaming Buddhism has been granted bail.
Kodituwakku was granted bail by the Fort Magistrate’s Court today (Feb 07).
The Fort Magistrate’s Court released him on two sureties of Rs. 1 million each.
He was arrested in January after being accused of committing irreligious activities against Buddhism. (NewsWire)
