A tense situation has been reported at the Dambulla International Cricket grounds as the public has arrived to purchase tickets for the ongoing T20I series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
Earlier, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced that tickets for the last two games of the series had been sold out and requested the public to refrain from attempting to purchase tickets.
However, several people had turned up at the Dambulla International Cricket grounds today, resulting in a tense situation.
Despite Police being deployed for security, the crowd had managed to break down the barricades and attempted to enter the ticket counters.
