Recruitment interviews to select nurses from Sri Lanka for nursing job vacancies in Saudi Arabia were held in Colombo on Tuesday (Feb 27).
Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara engaged in an observation tour of the interviews which were organized by Dewan Consultant Pvt Ltd.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Employment, in the first round, applicants with a nursing degree were selected.
A large number of nurses from both the public and private sectors were present at the interview.
The ministry further said in the second round, nursing diploma holders will be interviewed for nursing job vacancies.
The interviews are being conducted to fill one thousand nursing vacancies in the health sector of Saudi Arabia. (NewsWire)
