Opposition Leader MP Sajith Premadasa has requested the government to look into the failure to provide appointments to nearly 465 graduates.
Addressing the Parliament today (Mar 07), MP Premadasa said that nearly 60,000 graduates had received appointments from the government recently.
He said, however, 465 graduates had failed to receive appointments due to the faults of officials handling the process at the relevant government institutions.
Stating that the matter was previously raised in Parliament as well, MP Premadasa said that, however, steps have not been taken to address the issue.
The Opposition Leader today requested Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena to address the matter as soon as possible. (NewsWire)
