Entry into the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) headquarters on Darley Road in Colombo has been temporarily prohibited due to Police investigations into a complaint on missing files.
The Police Media Unit told Newswire that entry has been prohibited to the SLFP Office until the conclusion of preliminary investigations into the matter.
The Acting General Secretary of the SLFP Dushmantha Mitrapala had filed a complaint with the Maradana police on Friday (Apr 05) claiming that several files and a key to a cupboard were missing from the office.
