One person was reported dead in a shooting incident reported in the Katugasthara area in Gampaha today.
According to the Police, the victim, a 34-year-old man, had sustained serious injuries in the shooting and had died upon admission to the Gampaha Hospital.
The Police further said that another individual had also been injured in the shooting which had occurred around 04.00 pm.
The shooting had reportedly been carried out by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle. (Newswire)
