The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for thundershowers in several areas this evening.
According to the ‘Amber Alert’, showers accompanied by severe lightning are likely to occur at several places in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
The advisory is effective from 02.00 pm to 11.30 pm today. (Newswire)
