Two individuals lost their lives after law enforcement officers opened fire at a three-wheeler that refused to stop at Millawa in Moragahahena.
Police reported that despite signaling for the vehicle to halt near the Meegoda – Delketiya junction, the driver slowed down momentarily before occupants inside fired at the police and fled towards Moragahahena.
