Information has come to light of a group robbing the public of jewellery and two-wheelers by making them get down on their knees by threatening them with a machete.
It is reported that the group has caused fear among the public living in the Panadura, Mount Lavinia, and Nugegoda areas.
The group is reported to have carried out over 40 robberies within a period of one month.
