Sri Lanka’s primary gas dealer, Litro Gas Lanka has announced a reduction in the price of its domestic LP gas cylinders effective from midnight today (May 03).
The revised prices are as follows;
- 12.5kg cylinder
Reduced by – Rs. 175
New price – Rs. 3,940
- 5kg cylinder
Reduced by – Rs. 70
New price – Rs. 1,582
- 2.3kg cylinder
Reduced by – Rs. 32
New price – Rs. 740
Addressing the media today, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said he hopes the price of gas could be further reduced in the future.
He also assured that there were sufficient stocks of LP gas in Sri Lanka at present. (Newswire)
