A protest was held in Colombo today showing solidarity with the Palestinians affected in the ongoing conflict with Israel.
Opposition Leader MP Sajith Premadasa, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs Mujibur Rahman and S.M. Marikkar, and All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) Leader Rishad Bathiudeen joined the protest calling for a free Palestine.
A large crowd, including children, were seen participating in the protest held in Colpetty.
