Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (May 17) compared to Thursday.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.50 to Rs. 294.50 and from Rs. 305 to Rs. 304, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 294.50 to Rs. 293.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 305.50 to Rs. 304.50.

According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 296.89 to Rs. 294.68 and from Rs. 306.94 to Rs. 304.66, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.21 to Rs.294.21 and from Rs. 305. 50 to Rs. 304.50, respectively.

Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 297.50 to Rs. 295.50 and from Rs. 306.50 to Rs. 304.50, respectively. (Newswire)
