Former State Minister Diana Gamage has been granted bail after appearing before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly obtaining a passport using false information.
Earlier today, she appeared before court, following a search by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to apprehend the former minister.
The CID had presented a report to the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court, identifying Diana Gamage as a suspect in the case involving the fraudulent acquisition of a diplomatic passport.
Accordingly, Colombo Chief Magistrate Thilina Gamage instructed the CID to take appropriate action and report back to the court. (Newswire)
