Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) which unloved the Kandy Franchise just a few days ago has now found them B-Loved again, allowing them to own the Kandy Franchise of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
Earlier this week, SLC announced the termination of the contract with the Kandy franchise owners, who were the reigning champions of the LPL, citing breaches of contractual obligations.
However, today, they were observed participating in the LPL auction as owners of the Kandy Franchise, with Wanindu Hasaranga leading the team.
Additionally, there have been changes in ownership for the Galle and Dambulla teams for this season. (NewsWire)
