Police have launched an investigation to apprehend a man who was caught on video brutally assaulting a toddler, Lankadeepa newspaper reported.
The video which was shared widely on social media, saw many users urging the Police to arrest the individual on charges of child abuse.
The video shows the man attacking and beating a small child several times while feeding him.
The suspect, identified as a resident of Welioya, Padaviya had already fled the area, when Police had visited the man’s residence. (Newswire)
