An Indian couple has been reported dead after drowning in Kirinda Beach on Tuesday morning, according to the Police.
Police investigations reveal the couple had visited Sri Lanka on a holiday with family members and had faced the tragic incident while visiting Kirinda Beach.
The male victim had died upon admission to the hospital, while the female victim had died after being transferred to Debarawewa Hospital.
The deceased couple has been identified as a 35-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman. (Newswire)
