The Sri Lanka Police have issued a reminder to all motorists to carry the necessary licences and documents when on the road.
In a post on social media, the Police requested those who have vehicles to check if they have the following documents before travelling.
- Standard documents-
Drivers’ Licence
Revenue Licence
Vehicle Insurance
Emission Certificate
- For heavy vehicles –
A vehicle fitness certificate is required
- For Electric or Hybrid vehicles-
An Emission Certificate is not necessary. (Newswire)
