Twenty (20) office trains were cancelled today due to the ongoing strike of the Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Union.
According to Sri Lanka Railway, several trains have been cancelled since Thursday due to the strike.
The trade union action launched by the Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Union continues for the fourth consecutive day today (June 10).
The Union launched a strike action at midnight on Thursday (June 06) over several key demands, including solutions to the delays in second-class promotions of locomotive drivers. (Newswire)
