The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (June 12) compared to Tuesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 297.25 and from Rs. 306 to Rs. 306.75, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar is unchanged at Rs. 296.50 and the selling rate also remains unchanged at Rs. 307.50.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 297.63 to Rs. 297.87 and from Rs. 307.71 to Rs. 307.96, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 296.58 to Rs. 297.33, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 306.75 to Rs. 307.50.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 298.50 to Rs. 299 and from Rs. 307.50 to Rs. 308, respectively. (Newswire)
