Trinity College ruggerite Shabeer Ahamed has passed away following an illness, the school announced.
College Principal Fr. Araliya Jayasundara issuing a statement said that Ahamed succumbed to multi-organ failure after severe pneumonia.
“It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we inform you of the tragic passing of one of our cherished students and rugby players, Mast. Shabeer Ahamed, due to multi organ failure following severe pneumonia.”
“Shabeer was a very pleasant child and beloved member of our school community. This loss is deeply felt by all who knew Shabeer and we extend our heartfelt condolences to their family and friends during this incredibly difficult time,” the statement said.
