Major General Rohitha Aluwihare has been appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
According to the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Rohitha Aluwihare’s appointment is effective from today.
Major General Rohitha Aluwihare represents the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army.
In recent times, he headed the Army-appointed seven-member committee to investigate the tragic accident that occurred at the ‘Fox Hill Super Cross 2024’ racing event at Diyatalawa in April this year. (Newswire)
