The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (June 24) compared to last Thursday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 298.75 to Rs. 299 and from Rs. 308.25 to Rs. 308.50, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 298.50 to Rs. 298.25 and the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 309.50 to Rs. 309.25.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 300.03 to Rs. 299.64 and from Rs. 310.19 to Rs. 309.79, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 299.31 to Rs. 298.82, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 309.50 to Rs. 309.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 300.50 and Rs. 309.50, respectively. (Newswire)
