A proposal has been brought forward by two private entities to host an Ed Sheeran concert in Colombo early next year, Tourism Minister Harin Fernando said.
Cinnamon Life, along with Bookmyshow, has proposed hosting the concert in Colombo in January or February. The show is still under discussion and yet to be confirmed.
The Tourism Minister said that these types of initiatives are part of the government’s plan to promote Sri Lanka as an entertainment hub for tourists. (NewsWire)
