- Two (02) naval personnel apprehended by Navy’s Special Investigation Unit for alleged involvement in large-scale drug smuggling racket
Following an extensive internal investigation by the Special Investigation Unit of the Sri Lanka Navy, two (02) naval personnel from the Naval Intelligence were arrested today (30th June) on suspicion of aiding and abetting a large-scale drug smuggling racket. The 02 naval personnel will be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) for onward legal action. (Sri Lanka Navy)
