The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 01) compared to last week.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 299.50 to Rs. 299.75 and from Rs. 309 to Rs. 309.25, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 298.85 to Rs. 299.10 and the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 309.85 to Rs. 310.10.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 300.08 to Rs. 300.47 and from Rs. 310.24 to Rs. 310.65, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 299.86 to Rs. 300.11, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 309.75 to Rs. 310.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 301 to Rs. 301.50 and from Rs. 310 to Rs. 310.50, respectively. (Newswire)
