The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 03) compared to Tuesday, with the Dollar rate dropping below the Rs. 300 rate at some banks.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 299 to Rs. 298 and from Rs. 308.50 to Rs. 307.50, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar is unchanged at Rs. 298 and the selling rate also remains unchanged at Rs. 309.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 299.49 to Rs. 298.95 and from Rs. 309.63 to Rs. 309.08, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 299.11 to Rs. 298.62, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 309 to Rs. 308.50.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 300.50 to Rs. 300 and from Rs. 309.50 to Rs. 309, respectively. (Newswire)
