The 100 Octane premium petrol, known as XP100 rating fuel, which was officially launched in Sri Lanka is being sold at Rs. 793 per litre, the Ministry of Power and Energy said.
Sri Lanka became the 08th country to officially launch this high-performance and Eco-friendly fuel.
The fuel was introduced at the Ninewells LIOC Filling Station on Kirimandala Road in Narahenpita yesterday.
It was jointly inaugurated by Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha, State Minister of Power & Energy D. V. Chanaka Dinushan and Chairman of the Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) Sujoy Choudhury.
The 100 Octane premium petrol is produced using high-octane gasoline produced through Octamax, an indigenously developed technology by Indian Oil’s R&D Centre.
The fuel helps enhance the performance of vehicles, particularly high-end luxury cars and bikes. (Newswire)
