An 18-hour water cut will be imposed in several areas from tonight, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
According to the water board, the water supply will be disrupted from 09.00 pm today (July 04) until 03.00 pm tomorrow (July 5).
The water cut will be imposed in the jurisdiction of the Kolonnawa Urban Council, Kaduwela Municipal Council, and Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha.
The water board said the water cut is being implemented due to an urgent repair of a leak in the transmission pipeline from the Ambatale plant. (Newswire)
