Four persons were reported dead after the lorry they were travelling in overturned in Badulla today.
According to media reports, three other persons who were also travelling in the lorry had sustained injuries and were admitted to the Badulla Hospital.
The accident is said to have taken place near the Walihida area along the Badulla – Soranathota Road at around 12.00 this afternoon.
Reports state a group of workers from Monaragala were in the lorry on their way to engage in road construction work. (Newswire)
