Sri Lankan businessman Dhammika Perera says he is ready to contest the Presidential Election.
Speaking to reporters, the SLPP Parliamentarian said the decision rests with the largest party in the nation, the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP).
Stating that he is awaiting the party’s decision, Dhammika Perera said he has already commenced the necessary work to win the elections.
He further pointed out that all politicians vying for power via the Presidential election are yet to reveal how they will develop the economy.
Dhammika Perera said he has already commenced preparing his policies and he requires only 60 days to explain to the public how Sri Lanka’s economy can be further developed.
The MP also pointed out that the issues in the development of the education sector have already been resolved via his policies under the DP Education programme.
“Only smart classrooms are required to be provided to all schools in Sri Lanka, as the DP Education platform has already been created to provide equal education to all 10,000 schools in the country,” he said.
Dhammika Perera also voiced confidence in securing the support of the public who are yet to decide on their preferred Presidential Candidate through his policies to further develop Sri Lanka’s economy. (Newswire)
