The Government of Sri Lanka (GoSL) acting through the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies, called for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential investors for the divestiture of its shares in Litro Gas Lanka Limited and Litro Terminals (Private) Limited on the 16th January 2024. The deadline for thes ubmission of EOIs ended at 2.00pm on Friday 15th March 2024.
The EOIs received were evaluated in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Request for Expressions of Interest in compliance with the Special Guidelines on Divestiture of State-Owned Enterprises approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in July 2023.
Accordingly, the Cabinet Appointed Special Project Committee (SPC) and the Special Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee (SpCANC) have pre-qualified the following bidders for the Request for Proposal stage:

II. Siamgas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited
III. Bgn Int Dmcc And Bayegan Dis Ticaret A.S
IV. Confidence Petroleum India Limited
V. OQ Trading Limited
VI. Tristar Transport LLC
VII. Vitol Asia Pte. Ltd
VIII. Infinity Holdings, Infinity Holdings Sidecar 1 and National Gas Company Saog
Deloitte India is the Transaction Advisor for the divestiture of shares held by GoSL in Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Limited and Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation General Limited.
