The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (July 16) compared to Monday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 295.50 to Rs. 296.50 and from Rs. 305.00 to Rs. 306, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 294.15 to Rs. 295.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 305.15 to Rs. 306.50.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 295.91 to Rs. 296.89, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 306.53 to Rs. 307.54.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 295.68 to Rs. 296.67 and the selling rate from Rs. 305.50 to Rs. 306.50.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 297 to Rs. 298 and from Rs. 306 to Rs. 307, respectively. (Newswire)
