Four candidates have officially placed their cash deposits today for the upcoming Presidential Election 2024. The candidates are:
– Ranil Wickremesinghe, running as an Independent.
– Sarath Keerthirathne, also an Independent candidate.
– Oshala Herath, representing the ‘Abhinawa Niwahal Peramuna’.
– ASP Liyanage from the Sri Lanka Workers Party.
Deposits for candidacy are being accepted from 8:30 am to 4:15 pm on working days at the Election Commission Office until 12 noon on 14 August 2024. (Newswire)
