The Government of Sri Lanka has issued a travel advisory to Lebanon, urging Sri Lankans to exercise caution.
Issuing the travel advisory, Foreign Minister Ali Sabry advised Sri Lankans to refrain from travelling to Lebanon over the next few days.
Minister Sabry further advised Sri Lankans to only visit Lebanon for essential travel.
The travel advisory has been issued due to the emerging situation in the Middle East, following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. (Newswire)
