A 43-year-old individual was injured in a shooting incident in the Makewita area of Ja-Ela last night. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, a 29-year-old was also shot and injured in Thammita, Gampaha, last night. The police are investigating both cases, and further details are yet to be released.
