Minister Ali Sabry has taken oaths as the new Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms.
Minister Ali Sabry was sworn in before President Ranil Wickremesinghe today.
The new ministerial portfolios come in addition to Minister Sabry’s existing portfolio of Foreign Affairs.
The Foreign Minister takes over the ministerial portfolios that were left vacant following the resignation of former Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe.
Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe recently resigned from his ministerial portfolios of Justice, Prison Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms due to contesting the upcoming Presidential Election. (Newswire)
