National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake has signed his nomination papers to contest the upcoming Presidential Election.
The Member of Parliament placed his signature at the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Office in Pelawatte today.
NPP General Secretary Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe, JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva, and members of the NPP and JVP were present at the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake said the other political parties are divided and have fallen into a state of collecting garbage from other parties.”
He further said, however, the National People’s Power which was launched a year and a half ago has reached its current stage by creating awareness among the public in a very strong and organized manner. (Newswire)
