Late former Minister Mangala Samaraweera’s niece, Chanchala Gunawardena, has joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) to support opposition leader Sajith Premadasa in the upcoming presidential election.
SJB leader Sajith Premadasa has appointed her as the Matara District Organizer of the party. Chanchala is a graduate of Clark University in Massachusetts, where she earned a BA in English in 2011 and an MA in Professional Communication in 2012.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Matara District Member of Parliament Karunadasa Kodithuwakku has decided to support opposition leader Sajith Premadasa in the 2024 presidential election.
Accordingly, he expressed his support for Sajith Premadasa by joining the 3rd election rally organized by the SJB at Akuressa, Matara. (NewsWire)
