US Navy ship ‘Spruance’ arrives in Colombo

USS Spruance of the United States Navy which arrived at the port of Colombo on a replenishment visit, was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival today (Aug 19).

According to the Sri Lanka Navy, USS Spruance, an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer 160 meters in length, is operated by a crew of 338 personnel. The ship is under the command of Commander Thomas Adams.

Following the completion of replenishments, USS Spruance is scheduled to depart Sri Lanka tomorrow (Aug 20). (Newswire)
