The New Zealand Men’s National Team will tour Sri Lanka during September 2024 to play a two-match test series against the Sri Lanka Men’s National Team.
The Test matches are a part of the ICC World Test Championship Cycle of 2023 – 2025.
21st September will be a rest day of the 1st Test Match owing to the Presidential Election of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
The first Test of the two-match series in Galle kicks off on September 18 but after three days of play, if the game is still on, will resume a day after on September 22. This is the first time a Test match is being played with a rest day in between in more than a decade.
