The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has made several recommendations on the development of Sri Lanka’s health sector, to candidates contesting the 2024 Presidential Election.
Issuing a statement, the GMOA has made a 12-point proposal on the development of the health sector.
The GMOA has also presented an 08-point proposal to overcome the present crisis within the health sector due to the brain drain of doctors.
Stating that the recommendations will be presented to the Presidential candidates, the GMOA added that they are requested to consider them while formulating their policy statements.
The GMOA further said that the organization will extend its support to the programme that protects the free health service and free education systems in Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
