The National Election Commission has released a guideline on how to cast votes during the upcoming Presidential Election.
Chairman of the Election Commission R. M. A. L. Rathnayake issuing the guidelines said that voters will have the opportunity to mark their first preference for one candidate and the second and third preference for two other candidates.
Voters also have the choice of only marking their first preference, the Chairman said.
Accordingly, the Election Commission has issued the following guideline, on the two methods in which a voter can cast their vote in the upcoming election.
