The Customs Department has achieved a record-breaking revenue of Rs. 1 trillion this year, according to Director General of Customs, Sarath Nonis.
Nonis highlighted that this is the first time in the department’s history that customs revenue has reached Rs. 1 trillion.
He also expressed confidence in meeting the Rs. 1.5 trillion target set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for 2024, the President’s Media Division said. (Newswire)
