Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera announced that the government has allocated funds to lower the price of fertilizer in response to numerous requests from farmers.
Addressing a ‘Puluwan Sri Lanka’ rally in Morawaka, the minister said that the government will reduce the price of each 50kg bag of fertilizer by Rs. 4000, offering much-needed relief to the agricultural sector. (Newswire)
