A 44-year-old woman from Henegama, Akuressa, was arrested in possession of 62 counterfeit Rs. 5,000 currency notes, Police said.
The woman had been apprehended during a search operation in the Veluwana area of Dematagoda last evening.
Dematagoda Police are conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
